  • Photos on job site. We occasionally take photos at client sites for submission purposes or to prepare reports following work. Only photos relevant to the work will be taken at the client's premises with their prior agreement.

6. The Purposes of Data Processing
  • To provide our products and services. We use the data to provide our services.
  • Commercial transactions. We use data to process your credit card transactions, if applicable. This data is destroyed after the transaction as soon as possible.
  • To fulfill our obligations to our clients: We use names, contact details and photos to carry out the mandates for which clients have retained our services.

DCSM greatly values the security of personal information and is committed to processing it according to industry norms and standards, only for the purposes for which it is collected as described in this policy or in a notice specific for this purpose.

8. Terms of Access and Control of Personal Information
DCSM ensures that all personal information in its possession is as accurate, current and complete as necessary for the purposes for which it is used.

You have the right to request to know the content of personal information for verification purposes and to request a correction if it is inaccurate. This request must be made in writing to the person designated at the end of the policy.

If the information we hold only concerns your title and name as a representative of a company, you will not be able to obtain a copy of any job report, correspondence or other document (plan, photo, etc.) that may have been issued in the name of the company for which you were employed. Your name is only retained for the purposes of identifying a representative of a company that has retained our services and not in a personal capacity. All documents and information obtained in the course of your duties in this company cannot be given or sent to you (unless you act for and on behalf of the company which retained our services) since this information only concerns the company who retained our services.

Furthermore, there may be circumstances where we cannot give you access to your personal information. In particular, when access may lead to the disclosure of personal information of another person and/or company and this person refuses to consent to the disclosure thereof or when legal restrictions apply. If such a situation arises, we will notify you of the reason why we cannot give you access to your personal information.

9. Sharing and Reason for Sharing Personal Information With Third Parties
We do not share your personal information with companies, organizations, or people outside of DCSM, except to our suppliers, on an as-needed basis. For example, we may send a photo of equipment to a supplier for submission purposes, if requested by the supplier and with your prior written consent.

DCSM undertakes not to sell or rent your personal information to any third party for any reason whatsoever.

DCSM may collect cookies on its website.

11. Retention of Personal Information
DCSM keeps the collected data for different periods of time, depending on their nature and their usefulness in offering our products and services. During the retention period, DCSM takes physical and technical measures to ensure the security of data containing personal information.

Once the retention period has expired, the personal information is destroyed by a shredding company hired for this purpose.
Any confidentiality incident or data leak will be corrected and diligently reported to the Commission d'access à l'information du Québec. All people and companies affected by the incident will be notified in writing.

12. Other Information
Changes to these rules:
We make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any reduction in your rights under this Privacy Policy cannot be applied without your explicit consent. We always indicate the date the last changes were made.

Person Responsible for Compliance:
Given the size of the company, we will not form a committee responsible for the security of personal data. This responsibility rests with the entire company and the designated person in charge.
